The private bathroom with shower and free toiletries was a game-changer for me. It made my mornings so much easier and more comfortable. As a disabled guest, having an accessible bathroom was crucial, and Chateau De Sauge nailed it!
Personally, I found the stovetop in the suite a bit unnecessary. As a disabled guest, I didn't really have the opportunity or ability to cook during my stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful château in Saivres and it was an unforgettable experience. The château itself was stunning, with its historic charm and beautiful gardens that offered a tranquil escape. The attention to detail in the renovation of the property was remarkable, preserving the unique character of the château. The room I stayed in, the Napoleon Room, was grand and luxurious, adorned in dark blue and gold. It truly made me feel like royalty. The owners, Donna and Paul, were exceptional hosts who made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they even left a bottle of wine and other treats in the fridge for me. The evening meal and breakfast were both delicious, a perfect complement to the quality of the château and its rich history. Despite the heatwave during my stay, the thick walls of the château kept the interior cool and comfortable. And when the nights were a bit hot, a large fan was provided in my room, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the château was also great, allowing me to easily explore the surrounding area. I highly recommend staying at this incredible château in Saivres. It is an experience that I will cherish forever.

The owners were absolutely amazing and made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The chateau itself is undergoing renovations, but the finished rooms are absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious and having a small kitchen in our room was perfect for a longer stay. The attached tea room was fantastic, especially for a delicious Sunday roast lunch. They also offer dinner for guests. The garden was lovely for a peaceful stroll and the small pool was great for cooling off. It was unbelievably quiet at night, ensuring a restful sleep. The location is also very convenient, only a 7-minute drive to town and 20 minutes to Niort. We can't wait to come back and experience all of the other amazing signature rooms. it was a lovely holiday with plenty of nearby attractions to explore.
